Senior Pharmacologist

Job Description:

You will work in close collaboration with researchers as well as clinical developers on exciting innovative new vaccines and biologics. Due to the expansion of our projects in the field of influenza we want to expand our team with a pharmacologist.
You have demonstrated strong in vivo pharmacology expertise, e.g. hands-on experience with various disease models, analysis of pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic relationships, knowledge of biomarkers as well as the analysis of complex read out systems to provide high quality data would be an asset.
You will closely interact with members from other functions and work with external key opinion leaders. The role requires team player skills, self-motivation and initiative, reliability, efficiency, flexibility and enthusiasm.

Minimum Qualifications:

· You hold a PhD degree in physiology, pharmacology, biology or D.V.M. with at least 3-5 years of experience in drug discovery research supporting project progression, ideally in different therapeutic areas in an industrial setting.
· Scientific skills (knowledge, accuracy, autonomy)

Competences:

· Thorough knowledge of infectious diseases and a scientific appreciation of the complexity of immunologic pathways, inflammatory responses and in vivo pharmacological models is a must.
· Experience in the field of influenza is a pre.
· Capability to work independently with strong organization and communication skills in a matrix-based organization.
· The role requires team player skills, self-motivation and initiative, reliability, efficiency, flexibility and enthusiasm.
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
· Good organizational skills with the ability to adapt and adjust to changing priorities.
