Agilent's Life Science/ Chemical Analysis Group (LSCA) is a leading provider of analytical instrument systems that enable customers to identify, quantify, analyze and test the molecular, physical and biological properties of thousands of substances and products.

SERVICE SALES AGENTS - Zuid/West Nederland

With a view to expanding across Benelux, Agilent is looking for Sales Agents to focus on selling Support Services to our customer base in the Life Science and Chemical Analysis market. Within your assigned territory you will be responsible for driving account penetration, prospecting and developing new accounts and handling complex sales solutions from lead to close. This is a face to face selling role where you will spend the majority of your time engaging with customers to understand their needs and generate new business opportunities with Agilent’s world class service products. You will be working closely with the Agilent service delivery team and the instrument account managers and strongly focused on customer satisfaction.

The successful candidates will have a strong track record in sales with a dynamic approach to generating new business through the ability to really understand our customers, bringing them creative solutions that help them develop their business and markets

Qualifications : Commercial sales experience and understanding of the Analytical marketplace is essential. The Key skills for the role include:

• Commercial/selling skills: solution selling skills; proposal, negotiation, closing sales skills
• Business judgment.
• Working level of product/industry expertise.
• Industry/Application Expertise: application knowledge; working knowledge of competitive products (specifications, value propositions, price points).
• Teaming/Collaboration skills (resource management, team building.
• Presentation & Interpersonal Skills
• Local Language Skills plus English
