Senior Technician
Purpose of the position
Initiate, execute and report drug development and maintenance related research, manufacturing or testing, to develop, maintain and improve the investigational and commercial product portfolio.
Responsibilities
· Execution, control and report of assigned studies
· Plan and execute lab/plant studies and lab/plant facility maintenance in liaise with the Section Head and/or Study Managers
· Execute scientific oriented experiments for improving the laboratory expertise
· Act as an (technical) expert in one or more area’s of analysis or technology (like HPLC, dissolution, granulation, coating etc.)
· Maintain a current awareness of trends in technology developments
· Supervise and coach technical staff (technician, amanuensis and trainees) in expert field
· Contribute to facility/equipment maintenance, cleaning, certification etc.
· Ensure cGMP compliance
Profile
· A completed study at the HLO/HTS in chemistry, engineering or pharmacy
· Good communication skills in Dutch and English
· Adequate knowledge to work with information technology systems (eg. Windows and MsOffice)
· Worked at least 3 years as a Technician in a pharmaceutical or research driven organization.
· Trained to work in cGMP contained conditions in industrial and lab environment |
