Senior Technician UpStream Process Development (USP)
The UpStream Processing (USP) team is part of the Process Development department that focuses on developing vaccines and antibody production processes that addresses infectious diseases. The USP team is responsible for the development of pharmaceutical-grade production processes for viral vaccines and antibodies using PER.C6 cells, sub-clones or comparable cell lines as a production platform. These production processes must be scalable and pharmaceutical grade. The processes will be transferred to a GMP production facility for the production of clinical and commercial batches.
Job Description:
We are looking for a (senior) technician who is motivated to work in a multidisciplinary environment. As a (senior) technician you are responsible for practical realization of the experiments under the supervision of (senior) scientist. Furthermore documentation of the results in lab note books and report writing are part of the job. Evaluation of the results is performed together with the (senior) scientist. Beside project tasks also general lab tasks are part of the function like, writing SOP's and protocols, implementation of new techniques and internal organization of the lab. Most of the experiments are performed under BSL2 conditions.
Minimum Qualifications:
HLO or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline, like bio process or bio engineering. Experience with cell culture, adherent or suspension is required. Experience with shaker cultures, roller bottle cultures, bioreactor processes is an advantage.

The candidate must be accurate, flexible, show initiative and is a team player. A can do attitude is key for this position. |
