The Proof of Concept and Biostatistics (POC&B) team is part of the Innovation and Discovery Laboratory department, which focuses on the development of novel vaccines against infectious diseases.
Within the POC&B team, the Preclinical Immunology group is involved in the immunological evaluation of vaccine candidates against infectious diseases in animal models.
Job Description:
The technician will be involved in the immunological evaluation of potential vaccine candidates. Techniques that will be used include cell culture, FACS analysis, ELISA, ELISPOT, PCR and virology-related assays. The position requires planning and performing of experiments, followed by data analysis and reporting of the data to the responsible scientist.
Minimum Qualifications:
HLO or MSc degree in a life science related study
Certified to perform animal experiments (Art. 9 or Art. 12; preferably with hands-on experience). Candidates with a MSc degree willing to obtain the Art. 9 certificate are also encouraged to apply.
