The suitable candidate will be working in the Protein Sciences group within the Pre-Clinical and Clinical Research group of the I&DL department. The Protein Sciences group is involved in the generation of stable cell lines of PER.C6® cells expressing monoclonal antibodies against infectious diseases and the manufacturing and characterization (USP, DSP and Analytical Assays) of material for proof of concept studies in animal models.
Job Description:
Your main task will be the execution of analytical assays to characterize monoclonal antibodies. Analytical assays include HPLC, mass spectrometry, (gel) electrophoresis, ELISA, Western Blot. Your tasks may also include purification of antibodies and will also include method optimization, troubleshooting, planning, oral presentations and reporting.
Minimum Qualifications:
You have a HLO or University degree (BSc/MSc) in a relevant discipline such as biochemistry, life sciences, engineering or related fields. Experience with protein biochemistry techniques, such as HPLC-based analytical methods, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, IEF and Western blotting is required; experience with additional analytical techniques and experience in down stream processing is preferred.
